We have generated dozens of answers for each question and have developed a strong feel for how these models answer the questions. Language models will sometimes produce wrong answers, and sometimes they produce vague answers that would not score well. Use of these tools will be considered a violation of the GT Honor Code. The use of ChatGPT, GPT-3, GPT-4, Bing Chat, Bard, Claude, Grok, or any other large language model is expressly prohibited. This exam is open-notes, open-book, and open-lecture-videos. But hey this #knowledgemanagement product giveth me much value already. The format of the exam is 11 questions for a total of 12 points. Have seen it #hallucinate occasionally, and it frustrates me when it exhibits the #needleInhaystack problem, when it cannot find a minute detail I know exists in the source doc. When in doubt, I do use the citations to fact check before I pin an answer as my note. Its #citation abilities are unlike any I have seen yet - the citation is not only the source, but the source fragments it uses to synthesize the answer! and that too with hardly noticeable latency. The notebookLm team is doing a very good job ( not perfect yet ) in #grounding responses to the sources in the notebook. Another NLP feature I pointed out was the automatic extraction of really insightful questions. I find it's #nlp features of automatic #Topicdetection particularly useful to start extracting value immediately, usually pinning the summarizations as my notes. You can combine your notes further and ask the AI to synthesize, create an outline, and combine into a #composite note. I showed how you can pin the responses from the #AI (and hence LM ) as notes ( and hence notebook). I showed how I uploaded my dear mentor Vijay Dixit's book on #distracteddriving as well as a couple of related sources from government agencies, and started to have conversations with the book and the. each source can be a whopping 200,000 words. sources can be files on your Google Drive, your own write up, or PDFs that you upload. You can create notebooks with each notebook powered by upto 20 sources. Powered by Google's #geminipro, it's dead simple to use. If you have a Google account, you have access to Google's experimental #RAG product NotebookLM ( Language Model). We welcome your questions as we cook up some surprises with our new Al sous chefs! Whether you love cooking or are just curious about the latest Al, this lighthearted session aims to inform and entertain. Our goal is to demystify Al while having fun testing its limits in the kitchen. We'll see these Als in action as we ask them to remix classic recipes, invent new ingredient combinations, and even craft silly and creative concoctions! Along the way, Arun will explain how these Als work so you can understand them better. Join Al expert Arun Batchu for an entertaining and interactive session where we'll explore the capabilities of Al tools like ChatGPT and Bard. Thanks to our local benevolent overlord Dan Atkins for the connection, image, and making this happen. If you are a senior citizen, or know of a senior who might be wondering "What is AI?", "What do I do with these 'things?' ", "How do these things work?", "How safe are these machines?" please attend or pass on info about this free event on February 21. Happy to share that I'll be demonstrating the creative powers of #LLMs at the #Edina senior center "Cooking with AI: Exploring Culinary Creativity with ChatGPT and Bard/Gemini! "
